This week – the earliest time I have gone to bed is 1 am. 

I’ve been out a couple of times this week.  On Monday, my colleague and good friend Janniche (soon to be ex-colleague) invited me to her trip to IKEA that night.  I’ve never been to IKEA here in Bergen before but I have been to those stores in Canada like 10 years ago!  There’s so much nice things on display – you get crazy ideas on how you want to fix your place.  I also spent a fortune - i have to get myself a bedside lamp so I can start reading Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons (I was so engrossed with his other book Da Vinci Code and just have to see what all the fuss is about Angels and Demons). 

Yesterday, Tuesday, I went to a Christmas concert sponsored by Norway’s big mobile company Telenor in Johanneskirken (St. Johannes ? Church).  I love Christmas concerts.  They invited Lillian Boutte to sing coming all the way from New Orleans – so it was a New Orleans christmas concert – all that jazz!

And today went out on a date!  Had a great time – watched Happy Feet (my cousin Christian from Sydney worked on the film) and had tapas afterwards.  I want to see her again soon.

Ok - off to bed.  It’s 1:30.
